Welcome to the website of the 2nd Fluids and Complexity Conference
The conference, which will take place in Nice from 29th to 30th of November 2021, is organized by the Université Côte d'Azur and covers a wide range of topics related to fluid mechanics and soft matter physics:
• Non-Newtonian Fluid Mechanics, Granular Matter, Suspensions ; • Microfluidics and Biophysics, Active Matter ; • Multiphase Flows, Capillarity and Wetting Phenomena ; • Machine Learning for Fluid Mechanics ; • Locomotion.
The conference will take place in a plenary room.

Poster prizes
A poster prize from the Doeblin Federation will be awarded to a poster from a PhD student or a postdoc.
A third poster prize of 500€ from the Groupe Français de Rhéologie will also be awarded to a poster from a PhD student or a postdoc.
Conference fees
Registration to the conference is free for PhD students and postdocs. Registration fees are 40 euros for permanent researchers.
Update (October 26th): the total number of free accommodations have been reached. A limited number of free accommodations will be available for young researchers (PhD students, postdocs) on a first-come-first-served basis. Please contact the webmaster to apply. Availabilitiy will be communicated after October 25th.
